The Memory
I was sixteen and away from home on a German exchange trip.
At first it felt exciting, new streets, new people, a different language all around me. But after a few days, the homesickness quietly crept in.
Everything felt unfamiliar.
One evening, missing home more than I wanted to admit, I opened my suitcase and pulled out a jumper my mum had packed for me.
And there it was, that scent, fresh washing powder, clean cotton.& the soft comforting smell of home that clung gently to the fabric.
For a moment, I wasn’t standing in a stranger’s bedroom hundreds of miles away.
I was back home again, back in our kitchen and back where everything felt safe and familiar.
It’s funny how a scent can do that. How something so simple can instantly transport you back to the people and places you love most.
This candle captures that feeling, comfort, familiarity, and the quiet reassurance of home waiting for you.

How to use
