Perhaps it's the smell of freshly baked pastries that takes you back to Sunday mornings with your grandparents. The scent of old books that reminds you of a favourite bookshop. Or freshly laundered linen that reminds you of home.

That's exactly what Memory Lane Candle® is all about.

I don't just create candles. I create fragrances inspired by memories.

Each candle in the collection is designed to capture a place, a moment, or a feeling that many of us have experienced at some point in our lives. The comforting warmth of Grandma's Kitchen. The quiet charm of The Book Shop. The familiar feeling of stepping into The Coffee Shop for your favourite drink.

Because sometimes it only takes a scent to unlock a memory you'd almost forgotten.

A memory of a person.
A place.
A chapter of your life.

And for a moment, it's as though you're there all over again.

How Memory Lane Candle® Began

Memory Lane Candle® was born during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

For many years, I ran my own wedding styling business. I loved helping people create special memories and being part of some of the most important moments in their lives.

Then lockdown arrived.

Like so many small business owners, everything I had worked so hard to build came to an abrupt stop. Eventually, I had no choice but to close my business and take a job in Human Resources.

Whilst I was grateful for the security, I missed having a creative outlet. More than that, I missed creating something that made people feel something.

So I began making candles at home.

What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession. I spent countless hours learning, testing and perfecting my craft. But more importantly, I started thinking about the fragrances that meant something to me.

The smell of old bookshops.
Fresh coffee shared with friends.
Warm kitchens filled with laughter.
Cosy cottages in the countryside.
The simple moments that often become the memories we treasure most.

Those memories became the inspiration behind every candle I create today.

More Than Just a Candle

Every Memory Lane Candle® is hand-poured in small batches from my little Somerset studio using natural wax and carefully selected oils that are free from parabens and phthalates.

As a migraine sufferer and someone with allergies, that's something I never wanted to compromise on. If I'm going to fill my home with a fragrance, I want it to be one I can enjoy myself, and I know many of my customers feel exactly the same.

That's why every scent in the Memory Lane collection is chosen with as much care as the memories that inspired it.

But what truly makes them different is the story behind them.

Each fragrance has been created to evoke a memory, a feeling, or a familiar place that many of us hold close to our hearts.

Because candles shouldn't just make a room smell nice.

They should make you feel something.

They should remind you of people you love.
Places you've been.
Moments you'll never forget.

So whether you're lighting The Book Shop, The Old Cottage, Grandma's Kitchen or The Linen Cupboard, my hope is always the same:

That for a little while, you're transported somewhere special.
