I still think about that weekend we escaped to that cottage in the Country, just the two of us, no plans, no rush, just the sound of the trees swaying outside and the fire crackling low in the hearth. The concrete walls holding onto years of stories, of laughter like ours. We wrapped ourselves in soft blankets, mugs of something warm in hand, the night stretching out before us, endless and easy.
