The Memory

Sunday tea at Nan’s was always a feast for the senses. The table would be laid with care, fresh white bread turned into neat egg sandwiches, a plate of fancies with pastel icing and delicate swirls, and in the centre, the star of the show: her homemade apple pie. The buttery pastry would give way to soft, cinnamon-spiced apples, and she’d always serve it with a jug of thick, creamy custard. The air was filled with that unmistakable scent of baked apple and spice, wrapping everyone in comfort and love. Those afternoons weren’t just about the food, they were about family, laughter, and the kind of warmth you carry with you forever. Oh how I miss those days.

How to use



To ensure you enjoy your candle safely, always burn it within sight. Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep it away from anything flammable such as curtains, furniture, or papers.

Before each use, trim the wick to around 5mm. This helps prevent an overly large flame, excessive smoke, and ensures a clean, even burn. For best results, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn to avoid tunnelling.

Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Avoid burning your candle near open windows, fans, or drafts that could cause uneven burning or sooting.

Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Stop using the candle when about 10mm of wax remains at the bottom to prevent overheating the container.
