It was the summer I got lost in Italy, on purpose!

I had no map, just a small backpack and an even smaller budget, but I remember splurging on a room with a balcony in Positano for one night. The tiles were cool on my feet, the lemons hung heavy on the trees, and the sea, God, the sea! was the bluest thing I’d ever seen.

That evening, I sat on the balcony with a cheap glass of wine, lavender clinging to the breeze, and the sound of distant music floating up from the street. I promised myself I’d never forget that moment, that feeling. This candle is how I keep that promise.

Bergamot, lavender, and lemongrass carry me right back to that exact scent in the air, the warmth of the setting sun, and the peace of being nowhere else but there.

To ensure you enjoy your candle safely, always burn it within sight. Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep it away from anything flammable such as curtains, furniture, or papers.

Before each use, trim the wick to around 5mm. This helps prevent an overly large flame, excessive smoke, and ensures a clean, even burn. For best results, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn to avoid tunnelling.

Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Avoid burning your candle near open windows, fans, or drafts that could cause uneven burning or sooting.

Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Stop using the candle when about 10mm of wax remains at the bottom to prevent overheating the container.
