Hello old friend,
The leaves are turning again, just like they did when we would race each other down the lane, our boots kicking up gold and copper. I still remember the sound of our laughter echoing through the crisp air, the way the days felt endless, and the world seemed so much bigger than we could imagine.
I often wonder where life has taken you, if you still think of those afternoons when we’d talk about everything and nothing at all. It’s strange how the years slip past, yet a season can bring you back so easily, a familiar chill in the air, the crunch of leaves underfoot, the quiet at dusk.
We may have lost touch, but I carry those days with me, tucked safely away and when autumn comes, I find you again.
